Iino Kaiun Profit Drops to ¥12.68 Billion Amid Revenue Slump

Tokyo-listed Iino Kaiun Kaisha Ltd. saw its financial performance soften during the three quarters ending December 31. The company’s revenue contracted to ¥94.97 billion, representing a significant decrease from the ¥108.74 billion reported during the same period in the previous fiscal year. This top-line pressure trickled down to operations, with operating profit falling to ¥10.42 billion from ¥13.74 billion.

Key Financial Metrics

The company’s profitability metrics showed a consistent downward trend across the board:

  • Pretax profit reached ¥12.53 billion, down from ¥14.22 billion.
    • Net profit settled at ¥12.68 billion, compared to ¥14.18 billion a year ago.
