The latest restoration includes prominent assets such as Shiba Inu (SHIB), Chainlink (LINK), Ondo (ONDO), and Bonk (BONK). This update follows the earlier reactivation of five stablecoins on Ethereum, bringing the total number of restored assets on that network to 36 as of November 3. The exchange confirmed that it has now replenished approximately 95% of the funds lost in the $6.3 billion exploit, utilizing corporate treasury resources and the Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) to cover the deficit.
Co-founder and co-CEO Yi He emphasized that the exchange is prioritizing environment security over speed, resulting in a staggered rollout. While withdrawals for major tokens are now active, some transactions may experience delays due to high traffic volume. Binance has not provided a firm deadline for the full restoration of all remaining cryptocurrencies, noting that individual network and asset combinations must undergo independent verification. Plans are currently underway to extend service resumption to the BNB Smart Chain, XRP Ledger, and Sui networks, while the company prepares for a broader Proof of Reserves snapshot scheduled for November 4.
