One Stop Systems Jumps 22% on $10.5M Navy Storage Contract

One Stop Systems (OSS) shares surged on Wednesday after the company secured $10.5 million in new awards to supply specialized data storage for the U.S. Navy’s P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft. The contracts, involving both the Navy and a major defense prime, mark a significant expansion of the company's role in the military's high-performance edge computing sector.

One Stop Systems Jumps 22% on $10.5M Navy Storage Contract

The hardware specialist will provide rugged data storage units designed to support C5ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) missions. These systems, manufactured in-house by OSS, feature high-capacity NVMe flash storage canisters designed for rapid "hot-swapping" in demanding maritime environments. According to the company, these awards are slated to drive revenue growth starting in 2026 and extending through the following year.

The P-8A Poseidon serves as the military's primary long-range maritime patrol vehicle, specializing in anti-submarine warfare and intelligence gathering. By integrating OSS technology, the aircraft gains the enhanced data processing capabilities necessary for modern surveillance operations. This latest win underscores the growing demand for edge computing solutions within the defense industrial base as legacy systems are upgraded to handle massive data loads.

Market Performance and Outlook

Investors reacted aggressively to the news, pushing OSS shares up 22% to $10.16 in recent trading. The stock has experienced a dramatic ascent over the past year, gaining 194% as the company pivots toward high-margin defense contracts. While the shares remain below their 52-week high of $12.75 reached on Jan. 13, the new backlog provides a clearer long-term revenue trajectory for shareholders.
