The Japanese chemical manufacturer saw its revenue climb to 28.01 billion yen, up from 27.41 billion yen a year earlier. Operating profit saw a more substantial gain, jumping to 2.68 billion yen compared to 1.79 billion yen in the prior fiscal year. Pretax profit followed a similar upward trajectory, reaching 2.56 billion yen against 1.72 billion yen.
Shareholders will benefit from the improved earnings, with the annual dividend rising to 49 yen per share from 44 yen. The board declared a year-end dividend of 26 yen, supplementing the 23 yen midyear payout. Basic earnings per share reached 203.79 yen, while diluted earnings per share stood at 202.75 yen. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
