Investors now have access to tokenized versions of 12 major companies, including Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, and crypto-focused entities like Circle Internet Group and Strategy Inc. These assets are backed one-to-one by underlying shares, ensuring a direct link to traditional equity performance. The platform initially routes these trades through the Solana blockchain via Securitize’s broker-dealer framework.
Looking ahead, the initiative aims to integrate with a forthcoming 24/7 digital-trading exchange. This project represents a collaborative effort between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, the parent organization of the New York Stock Exchange. By leveraging this infrastructure, Securitize intends to move away from legacy market hours, providing a continuous trading environment for its users.
