Silber has guided the company since 2015 and will maintain a presence in the boardroom alongside current chairman Patrick Campbell, who remains on the board as an independent director. The transition also includes a change in governance, with board member Michael Kelly set to assume the role of lead independent director.
Birnbaum brings deep internal experience to the top post, having served as chief operating officer from 2020 before ascending to the presidency earlier this year. He will hold the dual title of president and CEO while gaining a seat on the board of directors to oversee the next phase of the company's growth.
