Franklin Myers, who stepped into the role on a temporary basis this past February, will transition to the position of executive board chair. He is expected to oversee the ongoing strategic separation of the company's lubricants and specialties business segment. Myers took control of operations after Tim Go initiated a voluntary leave of absence, eventually resigning from the firm in May.
Ledbetter, who joined the company in 2023, was promoted to president and COO in July. Upon assuming the CEO title, he will continue to serve as president. The board intends to expand its membership in the coming months to include Ledbetter as a director, solidifying his role in shaping the company's long-term strategy.
