Revenue at the Southport-based company rose 17% to $147.6 million, bolstered by a 16% uptick in firearm sales and a 26% gain in the castings division. Investors responded favorably to the results, pushing shares up 2% in after-hours trading to hit $51.00, building on a 10.6% rally observed during the regular session.
Chief Executive Todd Seyfert noted that while the company finds the top-line growth encouraging, the internal strategy remains fixed on profitability. Management is prioritizing disciplined cost control and a refined product mix to sustain this momentum through the end of the fiscal year.
