Glacier Bancorp, the parent company of Glacier Bank, has officially launched a search for its next finance chief, evaluating both internal and external candidates. According to the company, Ron Copher will continue to serve as CFO until a replacement is named, at which point he will move into an advisory capacity to facilitate a stable handover.
Two Decades of Leadership
Copher’s departure marks the end of an era for the Kalispell, Montana-based institution, where he has led financial operations for nearly 20 years. His tenure saw the bank navigate significant market shifts while expanding its footprint across the region.
The transition strategy aims to maintain operational continuity. By remaining on board through the appointment of a successor and the subsequent advisory phase, Copher ensures the bank's fiscal management remains steady during the executive search, according to the official announcement made on Monday.
