These contracts arrive as the company navigates a record-high backlog, which reached 693.7 million Canadian dollars as of July 31. The primary driver of this latest expansion is a significant project in Western Canada focused on the fabrication of steel structures for the hydroelectric industry. This specific undertaking follows a fast-track timeline, with production scheduled to commence in March 2027 and run for nine months.
Beyond the major Western Canadian deal, ADF expanded its footprint with additional hydroelectric projects throughout Quebec, Ontario, and the Atlantic provinces. The company also secured a contract within the U.S. West Coast’s recreational sector, further diversifying its regional portfolio.
