Silvia Overhauls Leadership Following Major Cost-Cutting Drive

Three top executives are exiting financial services firm Silvia as the company executes a restructuring plan aimed at slashing annual expenses by more than $10 million. The departures of the CFO, COO, and Chief Legal Officer signal a sharp pivot in strategy for the firm formerly known as ProCap Financial.

Silvia Overhauls Leadership Following Major Cost-Cutting Drive

Chief Financial Officer Renae Cormier, Chief Operating Officer Megan Pacchia, and Chief Legal Officer Kyle Wood have all agreed to leave the company. To fill the immediate void, the board appointed Caroline Hennigar as the new COO with an annual base salary of $250,000. Hennigar joins from Professional Capital Management and previously co-founded the events firm Polymer. Catalina Abbey steps in as interim CFO on a $200,000 salary, bringing experience from her previous roles at ProCap Acquisition and APFO Inc.

The cost-reduction initiative focuses on trimming compensation and operational overhead. Despite these cuts, leadership maintains the firm has preserved sufficient capital to prioritize its AI-powered platform and expand support for its independent investor base. Silvia, which markets itself as the first publicly traded agentic finance firm, intends to use these savings to stabilize its financial trajectory while refining its core technological offerings.
